Ballina Airport is a small regional airport run by the Council of Ballina Shire. It offers services to the town of Ballina in New South Wales, and also to the beachside town of Byron Bay. Last 2005, the airport was given a new name, Ballina Byron Gateway Airport, in order to attract more visitors to the area.
