Jetstar Set For Its Maiden Flight To Fiji

Australia-based budget airline Jetstar Airways will be making its very first flight to the island country Fiji tomorrow at around 2:55pm. The inaugural flight will fly 180 passengers from Coolangatta, the southernmost suburb of Gold Coast City in Queensland, Australia to the district of Nadi, famous for its international airport and tourism.

Tourism Fiji applauds the inaugural flight that connects the two countries. By attracting more travellers from Australia the new route is expected to boost Fiji's economy, particularly the tourism industry.

Tourism Minister Faiyaz Koya will welcome the maiden flight's passengers.
