Qantas Club Lures New Members Sans Joining Fee

18th Aug 2014

Does the prohibitive $395 membership fee prevent you from joining Qantas Club? Well, such fee is now a thing of the past after Qantas Club recently launched a promo just this week.

With the joining fee waived, it means that you only need to pay your first-year annual dues of $510, a huge saving indeed. Otherwise you need to cough up a total of $895, the usual amount an applicant should pay upon joining.

What's more? If you sign up for a two-year membership, you will only pay $925 instead of the usual $1,310. The four-year membership will likewise go down to $1,755 from $2,140.

As if it's not attractive enough, a new member will further earn double points on all Qantas-operated flights on both domestic and international sector, until 30th November 2014.

If you happen to take a flight operated by either Emirates, American Airlines, or LAN, you will get the same benefits as these airlines have codeshare agreement with Qantas. Take note, however, that your ticket should bear the QF flight number to be eligible.

If you book a flight with travel dates between September 12 and November 30 within this year, you will earn double points for that being a Qantas Club member.

Current Qantas Club members, should take not, that they are not eligible to earn double points as this is only applicable to new registrants.

Recently, Qantas Club increased its joining and membership fees.
