Qantas Increase Flights From Canberra to Adelaide

25th Jul 2012

The additional return flight will mean 1,076 more seats per week. However, the flights will only offer all-economy seats as these will be operated by QantasLink using the Bombardier Q400 turboprop. QantasLink is the regional airline of the flag carrier serving more than 50 destinations across the continent.

The new schedule is designed to draw passenger, especially business travelers, who have more flexible schedules. These flights will enable them (business travelers) to catch a flight back to Canberra in the early afternoon after attending a meeting in Adelaide in the morning.

The new flight, QF2091, will depart at 1105 from Canberra and will touch down at 1235 in Adelaide. The return flight, QF2092, will leave Adelaide thirty minutes later at 1305, arriving at Canberra International Airport at 1535.

For those who are traveling between Melbourne and Canberra route, they will also get extra seats soon when the replacement of smaller Q300 turboprops by QantasLink is completed.
