Skytrans Launch Sydney-Toowoomba Flights
3rd Jul 2012
Previously, business travellers would have to fly to Brisbane and drive 140km just to reach the city of Toowoomba. But now, Skytrans, an airline based on Queensland, will start its daily flight schedules in the Sydney-Toowoomba route, providing opportunity for these travellers to fly to and from the area.
Flights to the Toowoomba, Queensland will be available every weekdays, with double return flights every Wednesday. For Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, the flight will depart from Toowoomba at exactly 0715, and land on Sydney at 0930. The return flight from Sydney will then be at 1015, to arrive in Toowoomba at 1230.
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Friday flights, on the other hand, will have afternoon departures, leaving Toowoomba at 1345, and landing in Sydney at 1600. After 45 minutes, a return flight will commence, and to get passengers to Toowoomba at 1900.
For more information about the flight schedules, kindly refer to Skytrans' timetable. Tickets for these flights are available at their official website.
For these flights, which will take around 75 minutes for the 713km route, Skytrans will make use of the 36-seater Bombardier turbopop aircraft. Such aircraft is similar to Qantaslink?s propeller-driven aircraft, which is popular to many business travellers.
