Virgin Australia Presents Velocity Live
1st Oct 2016
Virgin Australia Velocity Frequent Flyer program members will no longer be able to enjoy only upgrades on the plane they are traveling on and preferred seating, but from now on even upgrades at sporting events and concerts. This is all thanks to the latest frequent flyer loyalty scheme by Virgin Australia's Velocity program, called "Velocity Live".
"Money-Can't-Buy Competitions and Experiences"
According to Velocity Frequent Flyer Chief Executive Officer Karl Schuster, Velocity Live mix has experiences and competition that "money can't buy".
Velocity Live offers loyal Virgin Australia customers a number of advantages, including a limited amount of "premium seats" at selected concerts and sporting events. For example, you could get a good seat at Keith Urban's Australian tour from 30th September to 17th December this year.
Also, if you book for these events trough Velocity Live, you could earn one Velocity Point per dollar you spend on a ticket. Velocity Live operates under the partnership with TEG, which is a parent company of Ticketek.
To top all of that, Velocity Live is available not only to Platinum card-holders, but to all other Velocity members as well.
Velocity CEO Schuster said:
"Velocity Live will make our members feel like VIPs regardless of their Velocity status, and give them access to once-in-a-lifetime experiences and the opportunity to earn Velocity Points in the process."
Velocity Frequent Flyer program numbers around six million members.
